DESCRIPTION:Volunteers will work alongside Farm staff to support seasonal plantings\, harvesting\, weeding\, invasive species removal\, and orchard support. \nVolunteers will meet at the Sankofa Community Farm at 9:30 AM and be separated into groups and provided with instructions and safety protocols for the day. DESCRIPTION:Join us for this annual day of service in honor of Martin Luther King\, Jr. Your volunteer efforts can make an incredible difference in our Southwest neighborhood! \nVolunteers must register below to participate! \nThis year’s day of service will take place at Glenda Anne Memorial Garden (5900 Greenway Avenue). We’ll be mulching and weeding the park\, as well as cleaning up the block\, and more! \nWarm drinks and light refreshments will be provided\, as well as work gloves\, trash bags\, and other supplies.
